Not much new. :(

So even though I said I would bead more often, i didn't find the time. You see, (haha excuse time!) I didn't realize I was going to have to direct a play along with be a narrator and dancer in it. So because of that I have had very little free time and most of my free time goes to packing or getting in shape for color gaurd tryouts next year. Did any of yall do color gaurd in high school? Summer Festivals and Fairs

Summer is supposed to be here, but here in Northern California Wine Country the weather has been frustrating. Beautiful warm days with a gentle breeze and in the 70s. Moving!

Well even though I've had an account on here for a while, I've never posted a blog. So I'm gonna try to post more often. But! As you can see by the title, I'm moving. Again. So I won't be able to bead as much for about a month starting in like a week or 2 so I am going to try to fit all the beading I can in that little time period and document it on here! More time in a day?

I work full time as a First Grade teacher and am starting up my jewelry business. I've been making jewelry for over 10 years and have decided I need to make a go at turning my jewelry into a full time business with my own bead store in the next few years or until I find the start up $! I am also in the process of losing weight and have lost almost 100 lbs with about 50 to go! So then I have to figure in gym time. So needless to say, my time is very limited! :( My question to those out there..

Hurdling my first Craft Fair!

So, if there are any others out there like me, timid and anxious about doing your first Craft Fair, you can visualize me in your corner cheering you on!

Definitely go for it! Even if you aren't sure of the venue that you are selecting, I guarantee your first one will be an valuable learning experience.

First, just some general advice coming from a newbie......I would pick an indoor venue for your first go, and select something that has a low entry price for your spot.

Spring/ Summer 2010

Hi everyone,

Has anyone be using the Pantone fashion color report spring/summer 2010 to make any creation of jewelry?

Well I have due to my clients coming to me with ideas to make them jewelry.

I have used turquoise with aquamarine and Amazonite.
I made a 2 strand for a client using amber and aragonite with vermeil findings.

Super Simple Jewelry Projects

No matter if you are an old - as in experienced...mature - or you are a total newbie, every jewelry maker likes an immediate gratification type of jewelry project.
